Sarah Nolan studied at The City University and Guildhall School of Music and Drama with Mark Knight,
also studying in Japan with the great pedagogue Dr Shinichi Suzuki before completing an MA in Music Education at London University.

A distinguished teacher, with many successful students, Sarah has worked for IMP publishers as a violin consultant editing and writing teaching notes for their collection of tutor books.

Sarah was formerly a member of the East Sussex String Quartet, giving recitals throughout the Southeast. She now plays regularly with The Corelli Ensemble, of which she is a founder member and with whom she recorded two CD's of Baroque music.

Sarah also performs, and has toured in Romania and Sweden, with The Musicians of All Saints, who specialise in contemporary English repertoire and has recently recorded a CD of violin music by Sussex composer Peter Copley.

Spending much time teaching and coaching chamber music at residential schools throughout the country Sarah is delighted to be exploring the piano trio repertoire with 3PLAY!
